SF6 GAS Automatic Sectionalizer Switch
The Auto Sectionalizer Switch is a circuit breaker/load switch used as a separator in the Medium Voltage Network, so that in a permanent fault state, the area (network) of the disturbance does not expand.
Auto Sectionalizer Switch works based on coordination between the Automatic Reverse Breaker (PBO), by detecting the loss of voltage in the network, which is caused by a short circuit.
ASS can be installed on the network as a disconnect switch or installed on incoming subscribers as a contact power limiter.
ASS installed at incoming customers, functions as a limiting customer power and must be equipped with a protection relay that has over current, thermal and under frequency functions (if needed).
